People in Amsterdam
This cage we live in is getting smaller and smaller. I don’t know how to break out of it, but I can paint on the bars.

A Day at the Scrapyard
What a beautiful day at the yard! I realised I had missed it a lot. That location, the atmosphere, the cars, my paintings and the guys. We started early and worked hard all day to rescue as much as possible. Halfway through the day, we had visitors from the press and the Amsterdam Museum. They came to witness their works being cut out. I’ve got lots more to tell, but this is not a book, it’s my website. So Pictures!!

Amsterdam Museum
The Amsterdam Museum bought two pieces of scrap! It’s all over the news. Read the articles: het Parool, de Volkskrant, Metro, Novum Nieuws, FOK.nl, At5, Reformatorisch Dagblad, Google it for many more.
And again a radio interview:

Caught!
I caught these two American tourists redhanded! They were ‘stealing’ my work as I passed by on my bike. Taking these pictures, I slowly approached them. WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
They told me it was the best thing they had seen in Amsterdam. DAMN I’m easy to please. So, no, I didn’t want to accept their money, but their offer to write an article about my work (since one of them is an NYC journalist) I didn’t refuse. Let’s see if they keep word!
I even let them take their picture with me. Hopefully I will be able to post that on my next blog. (guys?)

Ladies & Gentlemen
1 Because I want YOU to be able to see my work without having to go to a gallery, museum or my studio. I think art should be out on the streets for everyone to see.
2 Because I want to make the city a little prettier.
3 Because I hate the way everything is getting regulated and boring around me. It feels like people like to march and live in a clean city without any surprises. What the F is going on with everyone?
4 Because I like the rush of things, everything else bores the # out of me.

These are only a handful, if you click on the pictures you will see more. (a lot more)

New Painting on New Car
Since I couldn’t drive my old car after the bird was cut out, I got a new car. And again I painted it. There is not much to say, that the pictures can’t, so here:

Mustache Sunday
Geen gemor iedereen een snor.
This is what I did when I wasn’t working. Some faces on the way from my house to my studio, really needed a mustache.
